Meet Our Founders - Laura Logozzo

My love for the Italian language and culture has shaped both my studies and career. I hold a degree in Modern Literature from Italy and have extensive experience teaching Italian. Before moving to Newcastle, I taught in Italy, and since settling here, I have specialized in teaching adults—a role I am truly passionate about.
​
Teaching is more than just a profession for me; I also love creating resources for language learners. I am currently collaborating with a publishing house on a book for advanced Italian students, set to be published in 2025.
​
In addition, I support students preparing for A-Level and GCSE exams as a tutor and oral examiner, helping them achieve their academic goals.

Teaching Italian to adults started by chance and it soon became my one true passion. I find incredible satisfaction in making Italian learning as simple, natural and pleasurable as possible. There is nothing more rewarding than supporting people in learning the language from scratch or helping others to brush up their skills. Working together to create a space where people can share their love for Italy and the bella lingua italiana.

I am a native speaker and I hold a PGCE in adult teaching and learning gained at Northumbria University.
